DairyPATH – program information

There are no DairyPATH programs currently scheduled.

Are you ready to make your mark on the dairy industry?

DairyPATH is a pilot approach developed by Dairy Australia, designed to allow young people to tailor their learning pathway and maximise their potential in their chosen sector of the dairy industry.

The 18 month program has a holistic approach that encompasses an individual’s personal and professional development, deepening their industry and farm knowledge and growing their technical skill and ability levels.

What’s involved?

Each participant will be provided with a tailored Development and Learning Plan that aligns to their current skill levels and needs.

Inclusions could range from practical hands on training and extension programs through to advanced farm business management and qualifications. Leadership and personal development programs will complement the technical courses included.

We are seeking applicants who are looking to unlock the opportunities across the industry, are considered thinkers, want to define their career pathway and contribute to the Australian dairy industry.

Participants must commit to dedicating the required time to the program including workshops and travel. Attending additional industry events and activities could take up another one to two days per month.

This could be up to 18 days throughout the 18 month program (this will depend on the tailored plan).

Who can be involved?

Any young person aged between 18 to 30 years of age involved in the production sector of the industry and are an employee, manager, leasee or owner of a dairy farm business.
