The Business of Dairy Farming
In this module students will explore milk quality in a real working dairy farm business and provide the farmer with recommendations on how they can improve milk quality for increased revenue.

Module 1:Overview of the Australian Dairy Industry
See where Australian dairy farms are, and explore the importance of milk quantity and quality in farmer income, and the main components of milk.
Module 2:Breed, Milk Quantity and Milk Quality
Here you will have the opportunity to explore the differences in milk quantity and quality between cow breeds. There is also a group activity where you will be a consultant and provide advice to a dairy farmer on breeds.
Module 3:Advising The Farmer
Meet Farmer Pat and his cows virtually in some interactive videos, learn about herd recording, and help Farmer Pat in selecting cows to keep in his herd.
