Individual Flexibility Agreement (IFA) update
28-March-2014
Every modern Award must include a ‘flexibility term’ which enables employers and employees to agree to vary the effect of some award terms and put in place conditions of work which are tailor-made to suit the needs of their business and their employees.
This is called an Individual Flexibility Agreement (IFA).
The period of termination of an IFA has recently been increased from 4 to 13 weeks (for those made after December 2013).
